Major road networks connect Logan with all southeast Queensland centres including Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Over 3500 major businesses are headquartered in Logan, providing the city with an annual turnover in excess of $800 million. Most are concentrated in the service and retail sectors, with some light manufacturing. Logan’s own world class entertainment centre capable of addressing 1500 people has proved to be a popular venue as it is only a 20 minute drive from Brisbane Airport and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast. Logan not only has its own large public hospital but boasts a very large private hospital as well.
